Default Another TCT thread

As I sit here wire brushing the worm gear on my TCT and watching MotoGP practice and now the start of the 125's, I'm wondering if scoring some tiny grooves perpendicular to the screw thread would have been a better design.

Ah well, the last wire brushing session served me well for 15k miles...

Then it's off to Halfrauds for some more car wash stuff.

Then valve clearances this afternoon I think.

| think Honda must have designed it to function the way it does so personally i wouldn't modify it as if you do it and it goes wrong your in for a replacement engine.

It was just something that popped into my head while looking at it. Not something I'm planning on doing.

I have enough stuff to do on my list without making myself other jobs.

120k miles and still going strong. I seem to spend all my spare time maintaining it though these days.

Well, it's a lot quieter again now.

Valve clearances can wait, it's glorious sunshine so when I've washed it I'll be spending the afternoon driving my hammock in the garden..
