depends on the method, container is significantly more expensive than RoRo.. but it's normally quicker to get a boat..

Dunno, as I said was just a mad idea that crossed my mind

It's easy enough for us to do driving holidays in Scotland or across Europe...was wondering what would be involved in doing something in the US.

Sounds like hiring would be a better bet, but it'd be nice to be able to tour with your own car.

Might be some hard up US owner that'd be willing to hire out his S for your trip ...

Who knows, you might even find one of those "Too Fast, Too Furious" ones
