AP1 AP2 is my confusion
Yes I have read the long list of differences in AP1 and AP2 but my MY05 has all the upgraded bits yet has a plate under the bonnet stating AP1 so does anyone know why?
Ours are all ap1's... only the american market (and i think japanese?) have the AP2 with 2.2 litre engine from 2004 onwards whereas we kept the 2.0, and therefore never changes chassiscode.
Chassiscodes normally only change when the engine changes.

Quite right. The best nomenclature we can use is of the "MY" variety.
Essentially, we have MY00, MY02, MY04, MY06 and MY08. Each car has differences, most of which are identified in the FAQ.

Just a quick qustion that is along these lines.
Been reading about the F22c S in the new banzai and got me thinking.
When they bought the F22c out in usa was that then the only option for a someone buying a new S or did they have a choice between the F20c or F22c?
