Default Ap1 Front splitters Arrived :)

Hey guys, ive finished the s-pods now and they are in and working just need to make some covers, the rears need covering more than the fronts as they are more visable!

I brought a splitter for my bumper and the fitting kit is abit baffling.

Heres a picture, i think im missing a rivet as theres only 6 and theres 7 holes and 7 brackets.

The brackets are marked with F and E the the 3 F's go at the front and the 4 E's that are bent for some reason go to the sides, theres a small hole in both bumper and bracket for a rivet, but im unsure on what the 7 Big holes are for.

Could any1 shed some light before i start ripping things apart?.

i would ideally like a trial fir before i get it painted to save scratching it, i have spare rivets

I'd take it to a bodyshop and use sealant, that way it wont look shit as i doubt that will butt it up alone.

I got that kit and didnt need to use it.

Oh and its splitter

Yes they just stuck it on thats the best way to get a good finish, or possibly rivet then fill. It will last and wont really move or get bits of crap down the gaps.

Upto you mate, IIWU i would go down the sealant route, nothing worse than seeing a car with poorly fitted spoiler, lip etc.

Whats an extra

I also had a kit like this one sent with mine. I can't remember exactly but if you take the bumper off, their should be holes on the underside to attach it to.

I used small bolts with some ny-locks. The fitment was perfect with no gaps. I'd try that first

I will have a look under mine later if you need me too?
Providing you get a perfectly molded one, which is hit and miss.
