Default AP2

Is the misuse of this getting worse?

There is no AP2 in the UK

I know technically they don't exist in the UK Mark, but we all know what we mean when we talk about the AP2. Hell, we could call the <MY03 an ice cream sandwich and the >MY03 a gingerbread spoon and providing we were all in agreement, we'd know what we are talking about.

We don't want to end up all anorak-y, do we?

...and if my wheel thread is the tipping point, they technically are called AP2 v 2 / AP2 v3's.

I think it's just because AP2 is shorter than UK AP1 facelift 2004 onwards.

I've got an AP2 [joke]

i know Mark, but it's just so much easier than having to get your cardigan, pipe & slippers on and start blathering on about pre-facelift, post facelift like a proper nurd!

We all know that here in the UK it isn't a 2.2 so meh does it really matter?

Although Andys' idea of ice cream sandwiches sounds good too, albeit a bit Androidy!

Yes, as are the number of 'slammed' cars...doesn't take a genius to work out the common denominator

Or you just say 04, that's even shorter and everybody knows what you mean
