Default AP2 Rear light conversion

Hello all,

Been on the hunt for AP2 rear lights for MY02 S2000 since I purchased the car 2 years ago. Although the price of AP2's have dropped dramatically over the last 12-18 months I still can't seem to find a colour that I personally love as much as Monte Carlo Blue....

Anyway, managed to source a set of AP2 rear lights and having looked at a number of "DIY" threads, myself and OLLIECRX off the website decided to butcher my baby...

Here is a link to the photos as they won't upload for me...

The whole process took roughly 3hrs, afew shakey moment but we got there in the end.

Hope you all like

Andy

Really enjoyed your thread! Your car is looking really well! looks like you have plenty to keep you busy. How did you find the fitment of the rear lights? Took abit of playing about with mine but they are as good as perfect now.
Next on the to do list is get my AP2 front bumper on, source an AP2 front lip and a high level rear spoiler. Got an AP2 centre console arriving in afew days too hopefully

I found fitment perfect Andy, but like you've said bit of jiging was required. I found once you've located the most outward lugs in the holes it fitted perfectly then.

I actually think they fit better than standard

if I didn't have my shine bumper I'd be going ap2, yours is going to look great with the lip too make sure you post pics

Good work, this is on the top of the list of mods I'd like to do to mine!

They look so much better than the older version.

Whats a good price to pay for a set of these? I see then alot for about £300, Did you get the seals and some wiring included?
