Default Argh!! Incompetent scum!!

Yep, despite my explaining the risks to them ATS have managed to heavily score one of my front alloys and nick the rim of the other.

Charming.

One new alloy being fitted tomorrow, but as we are all aware (thanks to Honda UK) this isn't a known problem

I stayed pretty calm after my initial '***king incompetent **nts!' outburst in the waiting room

They were very apologetic though and only half heartedly tried to get me to have it repaired... The S2000 in its freshly Zymoled glory helped me point out that it was my pride and joy and a paint mismatched wheel wouldn't quite fit with my views on ownership. On the plus side though that particular alloy still had some immovable flecks of yellow paint from my bizarre 'yellow paint' incident from my very early days of ownership.

After screaming obscenities out of the car all the way to work I feel much calmer now, I checked with my friendly Honda parts guru and ATS have ordered the correct wheel (phew) so I should be it tip top shape for the weekend.

Oh gods yes.... I had said to a guy in the waiting room who was having his Clio Sport tracked (nervous as hell too) how much I dreaded coming to have tyre work done. Lo and behold 30 seconds later they drove a customers car straight over a floor jack This is as my wheels are still being abused too

I kind of regret not going back to Savoy Honda Warrington for the sake of

I remember the infamous `Celica alloy drop incident` of late 96. Wow.....ATS really made a good day for me then...........

I hate that place.

I know what you mean about the "Yobs", however they are not all equal. I've had very good service from my local Hi Q tyres. The lads in there are pretty young(20 ish) but they had a lot of respect for my concerns regarding damage to wheels when I had my GoodYear F1's put on. They did a great job, not a scratch
I think some times you don't think as much when your younger and until you've acquired something you really cherish you have no empathy for other peoples property.
