Auto window switch
After fitting new speakers and putting everything back together i've found the Auto window switch dosent work, the switch works just like the passenger one where you have to keep it pressed down. Had a look at the connectors and everything looks OK.
So any ideas?

mikeyk in another post said the auto window switch on his stops working for 20 mins after he disconnects (and reconnects) the battery.... Not sure if this is relevant to your problem or not

Did you disconnect the battery? If yes, you need to program the window to use the auto function.
Put the window all the way up and then click the auto up and hold for a few seconds - should sort it.

Bizarre, i did the hold it thing yesterday and it still didn't work, thought what the hell i'll go try again and still nothing, on the 3rd attempt held and nothing, lowered it and held and heard a slight click. Works now

Ade, it does do this when disconnected. You have to reset it by doing (something like) the following
Wind all the way up, holding the switch all the way up for a few seconds after.
WInd all the way down again
Repeat.

From the tech manual:

I would be curious to know if this procedure works. I had my battery replaced back in April and the car, of course, ended up without the auto lift function. I pressed up and down and pressed again in random sequences and eventually the auto function started to work again. Took maybe ten minutes of random pressing. Doubt I opened the door or started the engine though.
