Representatives from Honda’s advanced engineering department are said to have attended a recent S2000 owners’ club event in the British Isles - a sign that the firm wants to listen to enthusiasts in order to help it to position the next version of the car accurately.
Is this true?

I like the look of the thing, looking forward to seeing it develop into something nice!

"The biggest obstacle in the way of the S2000 replacement is the absence of a suitable platform."

Years away at least!

from the sounds of it they are making it slower than the current s2000, which would be a fail imo it needs to be as fast, if not faster than the current new civic type R, as imo the civic is a hot hatch back, while the s2000 is supposed to be a sports car.

They dont need to over think production either, just make one variety with a single engine 350bhp+ with a possible type R version a few years down the line.

Another case of a journalist trotting out some old concept pictures as he has nothing else to write about, and making up some blarney.

Will believe it when I hear something from Honda! We've had rumours on and off for years.. Exciting if true, though!

It does mention Honda attended an event in the British Isles recently to gain feedback and see what owners had to say....

Can the club get a petition together and send to Honda japan? I mean they want to build consistency and improve the connection with owners and build brand loyalty through providing fun affordable good quality cars....
