Has anyone used this product on their roof. I bought it for the rubber seals around the soft top, however after applying a small amount on a small section of the roof, it looks quite dark and appears to repel water.

Anyone else used this on the roof ??

Note: I dont mean Bumper Care - this is a milky colour and comes in a trigger bottle.

Bought and tried some of this today. At the Oxford meet, I was comparing my roof to that of MarkB(?)s newer red, and mine seems to have noticibly lightened.

I'm rather happy with the first attempt, but reserve judgement until I've seen what happens in the rain.

The roof appears darker, and quite glossy.

Some photos:

Just put 303 protectant on mine, but its bloody expensive, so if the autoglym works then that's what I shall use in future. The 303 darkens the roof slightly but not sure how it reacts when rained on.

Below, you will see an MCB, also in bullet time, maintaining its lines very well.......as of course, we all know that MCB is the fastest colour..............
