Default Bargain or barge?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1999-HONDA-S2000-BLU...1QQcmdZViewItem

In my search for an S this came along. I know it says 'run away' a bit, but you never know it could be a bargain. What list of questions would you send the seller?
Im thinking mileage, who imported it and a vehicle check if i even decide to view it.
Would it even be possible to find out all you should know about this car? How many of you guys have bought an import?

The other one is this:

This is just round the corner, in my prefered colours and cheap so im tempted. The only really worrying things are 5 previous owners and the bumper, is he talking rubbish about the clip thing? Probably just a minor knock but worrying all the same.

Not enough info to comment there!
I'd go and look at both.
Take one of the SE lot with you if you can!

Oh and watch the oil bolt recall on the JDM car, a few of these seem to have died in recently.

Is it normal for a JDM to be imported/exported when it is 8 years old?

I thought the rules in Japan made it too expensive to keep them after they get to 3 years old?

If that's a '99 then I'll eat my hat - the colour's not a '99 colour, neither are the wheels or the headlights - doesn't mention the fact it's had the facelift lights or wheels fitted, which I would have thought would be a selling point...?

There's a manufacturing fault with the rear bumper that causes it to pop out? It's well covered on S2000 sites? Is it?

Top one looks like a scam to me as the spelling is terrible.Someone that owns an S2000 is a bit more discerning and normally can spell! The car is not what its stated to be either, front lights are MY04+ and the colour is not right for the year as someone above stated.I wouldnt even bother with viewing or bidding.

Bottom one looks like it might be worth a punt though..

That's not a '99 front bumper either.
