Battery again
Ok turn the key, chug chug chug chuuuuuuggggg........
Luckily I have a spare battery so go and get it and tie it in.
Try and connect the wires up and find......
The Halfords battery has the terminals on the other side of the battery and the wires aren't long enough !!
Anyone else had this at alll ??
Start the car on the new battery, disconnect and put the old battery in with the engine running, hope by the time I get to work the old battery has some charge in it, no such luck as the car stalls on parking !! It's a heavy car to manouver with no engine.
The car really doesn't like running on the alternator only, very lumpy idle so found myself keeping my right foot on the gas, fun in traffic !!

I bought one of those 39 quid charging stations from Argoose. Very useful.
I bought it as I`ve found my car runs down after 6 weeks of non-use. Which is the average now.
I leave it in the garage, every 5 weeks fire it up for a 15 mile charge then back in for 5 weeks again.
Whats the point I ask?
But that charger is cool.

Put your money where your mouth is and roll up to Turner Towers in some Italian exotica. You know Mark will be green with envy, spaf the wedding savings on his own car with a stallion on the front, then go on an impromptu European road trip to avoid Jenny throttling him

I can see it now - regular S2ki board updates as you drive from country to country, learning how to keep your new purchases alive by using peasant womens' grotty tights as fan belts etc.

The S will more than likely get sold - but at this stage it will be to buy bricks.
Booooooooring.

Don't buy a Volvo!

Does that work? I thought the engine needed a battery connected to run.
I found this out the hard way by locking keys in a car whilst the bonnet was open and engine running.
Had to kill the engine and then drive to work to pick up my spare keys, disconnected the battery then disconnected the spark plugs one by one, Prelude F20 engine will run on 1 cylinder
with no battery connected !!
