Default Battery is dead!

Either me or my girlfriend left the interior light on last night so the Battery is now flat. It has been a bit dodgy at keeping its charge since I got the car last August.

I was waiting to get my car washed with the radio on for 5-10 mins which killed the battery and have done this twice, once for maybe only 5 mins without the engine running which has killed it.

Going to pick up a new one at halfords today (and some jump leads!) but am unsure which one to get as I have a JDM (is it different?)

Dembo says HB054 and the FAQ says HB053..

Which one do I need?

Answers needed asap if you can as I am going to Halfords at 1pm!

Thanks

I hope you have a fat wallet or trade card.

Try the dealers, they are normally cheaper at Honda believe it or not.
Failing that, yellow pages for a local battery specialist, even cheaper sometimes.

I doubt the JDM is different, it's essentially the same car, engine and bay design?

The JDM is different

I replaced mine at Halfords... and it was a HB054

I think the reason for the difference is the fact that Halfords ceased production of the 054 and replaced it with another.

The cost for me was

take your battery down to helfrauds or any other battery place, the key is size (will it fit) and the terminals size and orientation
