Default Been a little bored.....

.... so I've been fettling! Always had a vision as to how I wanted the 'S' to look. Nothing too extreme, just a few subtle modifications to appease me. Had a little bit of time on my hands (6 weeks paternity leave!) so thought I'd crack on and see what I could achieve.

So far the following has recently been carried out/fitted:

Mugen Compliance Bushes,
Eibach Springs,
Stubby aerial,
Wheels refurbed and painted gunmetal,
Centre caps CF wrapped with red 'H' emblem,
Calipers/rotors painted black,
Re-built the drivers seat bolster + swapped base with passenger side,
UK Exhaust mod (28mm pipe),
OEM lip + rear spoiler (Ebay specials, but still surprisingly good fit/colour match!),
Muz style one piece mats from S2Ktuning.

SO far this is the result (apologies for the iphone pics):

For a 14 year old car I think she is wearing well.

Future plans include a K&N FIPK and getting a few bits of the bodywork and hardtop sprayed (wing mirrors are starting to pink ).

Looking towards the long term, possibly going down the supercharged route.... maybe!

Looking good. Haven't seen you about Plymouth yet. Any chance you used to have an S13?

I don't tend to get much time to drive it ATM, I keep saying to the doris the kids can go in the boot, but she won't have it! I used to have a silver Motegi Prelude before this with a motorbike (R1), no S13 though.

Such an easy thing to do! Did them while the wheels were getting done. Wire brushed the callipers. rotors and hubs, cleaned them with brake cleaner then water. Waited for them to dry then put two coats of Hamerite Direct to Rust on using small brushes then let it dry for 24 hours.

Just make sure with the rotors you get a small enough brush to get in between the veins and don't worry too much about getting it on the surface of the disc itself as it'll soon wear off when you use them!

I'll try to get a close up later. The hubs came up so well I actually thought about leaving the centre caps off!

Cheers mate. Yeah the R1 was a beast! 106 Mph in first gear!

Ended being too much of a jump from my K4 GSXR 600 and wrote it off after 18 months of ownership. Shame as it was a lovely bike, just not as forgiving as a 600!

Would love one and I've been given permission as long as it's not a sports bike so was thinking of getting a street triple.
