Belts
Micro-V belts normally get changed about every 40k miles but you can do it by visual, just look for obvoius cracking.
The longer the belt, the longer the life as long belts do less revolutions than shorter ones..
I remember when I used to work for Vauxhall technical the change dates / miles on an aux belt said 'life' on many applications. Which pretty much again just means visual.
Note: Dont go to a main steeler for the new belt, simply count the ribs and measure the length on yours to get the generic part number.
i.e
6 ribs & 2240mm = Part no. 6FPK2240
you can then purchase it from any motor factor, be sure to buy a top brand oe supply like Continental or Gates.
