Bent/seized shocks on the rear?

Lately I've noticed that the rear of the car feels very skittish and likes standing water less than normal, even one of the soft top catches has been rattling. I've tried standing on the boot lip and bouncing the car but it's very stiff, could this be due one of the above causes? need to get it into the workshop to have a better look but the place is extremely busy and I can't stay late myself at the mo, any ideas guys.

Have you looked outside ? You know that white/wet stuff on the road , well ...

Seriously though, I'm sure the cold weather affects the oil in the dampers effectively making them a bit stiffer

It does, especially the low speed damping (body control/traction) - having said that you should be able to move the car fairly easily whilst standing on the boot lip and bouncing it!

Ta guys, not the biggest/heaviest one around but when standing in the boot opening lip and bouncing the car just moves - very slightly - might need to take them off and attempt to compress them minimum height to check them out.

Not with Ohlins DFV same hot or cold :D

How would you bend them? Those remote reservoirs are so your shocks can have big thick shafts. Oo errr

And it's the springs that would make it stiff. They are stiff cars.

What tyres are you on? Mine struggles for grip on summers, the SC one is beyond daft.

Got a jack in the boot, jack a rear up one at a time, see how much travel it has before the wheel lifts

Looking at this for sale https://www.s2ki.com/forums/uk-irela...nsion-1180902/

reminded me that some dealers forgot to remove the delivery spacers on the springs, you haven't got yours fitted still have you ?

Could a bush/bolt be seized in the rear suspension creating this feel? Should really have been down to work this morning and lifted the car on a 2 post ramp to check suspension droop and could have checked them for compression using a gearbox jack, maybe next week if I get out of bed early enough.
