I've read that somewhere, the S800 I was looking at redlined at 8.5k but the clock went on to 12k. I was hoping to get a word with the owner but never spotted him.

Chris, did you get the car at Norton way? I noticed that they had a couple of red ones there a few weeks back, a Vreg and a Wreg, the Vreg they had used to belong to GrayBloke.
Yes, I got my Red from Norton way. The V reg seemed to have lots of chip damage on the bonnet. There is a Silver / Red(?) which is actually an import which Honda have on the forecourt - I bought this first & then found out.

I had to do mine when i got there, spent about three hours in a traffic jam on the way there so i was well tired for the rest of the day.
I got some centre caps made for the wheels but the front ones didnt fit, I was gutted. because if you look @ the back wheels they look a million times better.

Ah ha! Gotcha Andrew

It wasn't until I saw the pictures (seats and front plate gave it away) that I put 2 & 2 together. I've seen your S on the roads around Manchester a few times, twice on Oldham road near the end of Broadway and once on the A627M heading towards the M62. Are those wheels a fairly new addition though?

Yes, the very same. The fact that they lrt it out of the dealership on over inflated tyres was bad enough, but to then tell me I must be wrong (I use the racing tyre gauge I have for the Locost, it's very accurate) rather than admit the possibility of a problem their end is just arrogant.
Added to that the fact it was delivered in the rain and the delivery guy was very keen to get away - it was only when the windscreen was dry that I noticed the stone chip, coincidence or not, I don't know but I wouldn't trust them to be honest or to know what they're doing technically now.

I've just added some more photos to JAE Photos (may need to hit refresh on your browser).

Tiff, I get about abit in manchester and Oldham, dont recall seeing ur's before though (nice reg by the way).
As far as the wheels go they were imported from Japan, without the centre caps which has been a right pain in the arse trying to find someone to make some for them, finally found someone before the JAE show but the front ones didnt fit, so I hopefully should have them looking super sexy before the USC show @ Santa pod in 2 weeks.
