I viewed, test drove & collected the car in late September last year & never noticed the swirl marks until a sunny period some days later! Ouch? Very disappointing as the car was a newly registered 1K demo. :thumbdn:

I think black is the best colour the S - well I would wouldn't I?!
But... I'm ashamed to say that sometimes if it's newly washed/polished, I will avoid driving it if the roads are wet, even if the sun is out, and take the beater instead. I feel happier when the car is dirty (like now) as I drive it whatever the weather. Although it is due a wash... Hmmm. :) |
I hated my black S, looked very dated too with the little wheels.

Very insensitive to elder black owners with little wheels

Only ever had one black car and I swore I would never have another, an absolute pig to keep looking clean otherwise great if you don't mind driving around in a dirty looking car!.

Apart from an e36 BMW coupe which was white (it was a long time ago, car was 1993 K plate) I have always had dark cars. Yes they are a b*stard to keep clean but they do look good clean

My black ATR looked great when clean.
Wasn't clean too often though. |

Russ. Are you sure it was the car that was the issue, here? |
