Default Blue out, black in

Had gone as far as i wanted to with my blue s2000, fancied a change so bought a black one...

Day before blue one went

Sad to see it go but nice to have something new to tinker with.

old and new

Black one is a 2008, the interior and bay is like new! the paintwork needed a good polish up as was really swirly but all sorted now. Car park dents will be coming out next weekend. also had a brand new Honda roof last year which is a bonus, saves a trip to Cardiff. Full service history, stacks of receipts. Only mod was the headlight washers have been removed and the stupid pump on start up blanked off.

slapped a new battery on once it was home

painted calipers

polished up, wheels off, arches pressure washed.

dif and gearbox fluid changed

Bay was already clean, will be painting rocker cover one weekend.

More to come

just going to use this whilst i'm searching for the right M3, probably trade it in against one. Plans are to keep it clean and tidy, rear spoiler, springs,fn2 gearknob, trim the wheel, get some splitters and skirts on from the ones i've been making for other people and enjoy the better weather

If you plan to sell it I'd leave it stock. You'll get a wider sale audience.

Some modifications you think are "tasteful" may be seen as bug-gering by potential customers. I had to remove the horrible (but expensive) black wheels from the '06 I bought last summer. Perhaps the previous owner liked them but I can't imagine why. Let the new owner decide.

yeah the bits i'm intending are only the bits it should have had from Honda. plus all the original bits will be available. probably end up trading in anyway. save the hassle of selling it

lee this is a question about your blue one... when you go the number plate holes smoothed out and repainted, did you notice any sinking on the holes? and how long had you had that work done? cheers matey

black looking good, I like the red/black interior in that particular style

Tangoray, I had sinking on my first smoothed bumper due to the body shop using filler instead of a proper plastic weld. If you have the latter done, you shouldn't have any problems with sinking.
