I had a bit of a do with a Crossfire Cab last weekend. He thought he'd show me a clean pair of heels; yeah right . At every bend the back end was lit up like a xmas tree under heavy braking. After about 4 miles he'd obviously had enough of me and decided to up the ante by overtaking into oncoming traffic

He probably did make the most of the roundabout but 20 year suspension probably had a big impact to his speed.

A mate has a 1987 535 i E28 and that is awlful round the corners. He wants to put on the MTEC from the M5 of the same era. Should make a bit of a difference. His will see off a lot of things as it 0 - 60 is 7 secs.

 

Rob, are you sure you can bear to be without an S2k if you sell yours before getting a new one? I've also promised my father in law that s2k 'fast and furious' through the Cotswolds or Brecon Beacons in May!
