Hi guys - long time viewer first time poster here. Hoping to secure that first S2000 very soon!

Just a quick question - is anyone familiar with this importer dealer?

http://www.bobgerard.co.uk/usedcars.php?&d...18992&model=606

His prices for new imports seem almost too good to be true. But to be fair, Honda list prices are very high and this guy is recommended by Honest John (sunday telegraph).

Is there anything to be wary of?

Cheers

There is plenty of information about BG on here. Not to mention a fair people who have bought their cars there. Including me.

Nothing to be particularly aware of, other than you'll get something a lot quicker if its one they've already got in stock, or about to get into stock.

Classic. Three BG buyers, all with Moonrock/Red-Black. Can't beat it.

There are a lot of satisfied BG customers on here - they have a rock-solid reputation, so you can buy with confidence from them.

The only real issue is whether they happen to have the colour combo you want in stock or on order. If not, there's 4-5 month lead time if they have to order from scratch.

I'd be wary of anything Honest John writes!

But BG is highly regarded.

IIRC he cocked up one guy's order, but then did his best to out it right and the guy was happy in the end. That's almost more of a recommendation than not getting it wrong!

Bought my moonrock red/black combo from BG. AFAIK they all come with VSA as standard as well!

Apart from needing a supercharger and final drive, could not be happier.

As most of us need to take the price into consideration, BG is the only way to go.

I suppose that's a subtle way of getting a dealers name to the top of a forum on what might be a slow January.......
