My bonnet has never popped open when the latch in the cabin area is pulled, but I thought it would be a quick fix or small adjustment to sort this...

Today me and Mugen888 were installing my cold air feed when I noticed the bonnet wouldnt close. So I removed the cold air feed, tried to close the bonnet when I realised the bonnet latch was stuck in the closed position

Turns out the spring had broken off so I'm stuck with an open bonnet

Does anyone know the Honda part number for the entire bonnet latch mechanism? I don't have time at the moment to go round looking for one at a breakers yard.

I'm guessing the part will be

I was actually reading your post a couple of hours ago ( https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=490767 ) - but I don't think the part number was listed. Some Honda dealers are a bit funny about taking orders without a part number but I'll give it a try!

 

the only reason they are funny about it is they have to pull their finger out of their ass and press a few keys on the computer, i never use part numbers, even if i have them,
