Boot flooded
OMG. I went into my boot this morning after a few days of really heavy rain; I noticed my boot all seemed very damp. After further investigation I discovered to my horror that the well of the boot is like a swimming pool, full of water. The well is soo full that the lining when pressed water can be heard sloshing about.
Is the lining easy to remove as I noticed plastic plugs? I take it these just pop out using a flat headed screw driver? Are they easy to replace if I snap a few?
I did have my roof replaced about 6 weeks ago, but have only just noticed the water. Could the roof be leaking? I though the boot was a sealed unit? Could any of the drain plugs be blocked (I wouldn't know where they are)?
Also, any recommendations of how to line the boot to protect any rush from starting due to the water? Wax oil?
Cheers and hopefully I won't need my flippers and snorkel... next time.

Mine was a combination of the vent behind the bumper, the seem where the OS rear wing meets the rear section of the car and possibly the trim piece behind the rear window.

Spies, how did you solve the "the seem where the OS rear wing meets the rear section of the car"?
My boot has a leak in this area I believe. Tempted to buy a pot of outdoor sealant and go mental with it. Anyone got any suggestions of sealant?

What I would do is, open the boot then hose that corner ensuring water doesn't come over the edge into the boot, just so it runs down the drainage channel, and see if there's a drip coming from around that area.
