Default Boot Release

Got into work this morning and the boot release wouldn't work, not off the key fob or the button inside the car b*llocks

Wandered into the office to speak to my manager as I had a meeting with her this morning and told her I couldn't get my laptop etc out of the boot so would have to drive to Honda Ascot at lunch time. Her reply 'Haven't you got a key'

OMG - I've had the car for 4 years now and never had to use a key - it never even occurred to me

Please tell me I'm not the only one that does stupid things like this (aren't I glad I didn't go to Honda )

I'm guessing Honda will be required to fix the problem unless someone knows how?

You mean to say that you have managed to open the boot with the key fob each time when approaching with shopping bags, or had to put your bags down and rummaged around in the car to press the release button in the glove compartment? Crazy girls

I discovered that the boot release was solely electronic in the middle of a field in France last summer.

No I have a seperate key fob as it's an import - with a dedicated boot release button, works every time

Existence of a second fob with the lock/unlock and boot release buttons doesn't necessarily mean it's an import. Unless there's something I don't know about my car

I'm fake blonde and have lots of blonde moments

A bit like when the exhaust was sounding too loud, I knew there was a hole that needed repair and thought it had got bigger. Glad I looked myself before taking it to the garage as it was in two pieces

I'm pretty good an making an idiot of myself - not very good at engaging brain
