Are both Ap1 and Ap2 exhausts the same?

Default Are both Ap1 and Ap2 exhausts the same?

just as the title says quicki wanted to know if the exhausts are the same for the ap1 and the ap2 apart from the actual tail pipes..??

The bit that the tail pipes go on to is slightly longer on one of them, can't remember which though. Either exhaust will fit pre or post '04 cars. (All AP1 in the UK btw)

thanks dude the only reason i was asking was becouse i just bought a ap2 one for my ap1 just making sure thanks for the promt reply..

LOL, why dont we have an auto correct feature, so when you type AP2, corrects it to MY04+ or something ?

Did I say it wrong? I always thought it was a ap2?

All UK cars are AP1.

AP2 is the 2.2L engined cars available in the US and Japan.

i am pretty sure the pre 04 tail pipes are slightly longer.

This is true, seen a few early ones with the oval pipes and they stick out a bit...

SOmeone with the Honda parts thing will be able to confirm. I thought they were the same, but the tailpipe trims were different?

I want to start a campaign against this AP2 business!
