i'd def have a box s if they weren't so expensive - might consider a 2nd hand one in the future.

also agree with the comment about the Z4 coupe - very nice - be very expensive new though - again a possible future 2nd hand choice. also fancy an mcoupe as well at some point.

variety is the spice of life etc - i love my s but want to try lots of different cars before i sign off.

hopefully honda will get the finger out and produce another sports car that we will also want to have a go in before too long.

i've had a ctr and now an s2k and both are great so would like to spend some more cash with them if the right car comes along bearing the big H.

ya herre me honda?!?!

holla at yer boy!

throw me a bone herre!

The Boxster isn't my cup of T but there's no doubting its a fine car (looks aside). The handling is so composed and controled, it doesn't dip and lurch like the S. But like others comment it is too insulated. To get the grin factor you have to be going silly speeds because it is so competent at slower speeds.

why pay anothe 20k for 5% extra performance[if that].
You can apply the same logic in the S2000 vs Mx5 debate. Its simply the laws of deminishing returns at work. You pays your money and makes you choices. Personally I have an S2000 because I can't afford a good low mileage boxter S. If I could I'd have a wee think although to be honest I'd probably still have the S2000 for a number of reaons.

Unless of course like me you recentley purchased your S2000 and tried out the Boxter first and still plumped for the S.

So... now what's the excuse for people being complimentary about a car they purchased basing thier decisions like me on merit?

Oh dear... just noticed the username, oh dear... dear oh dear...

this sounds like justifying buying one of those flattened vw beetles, with dodgy oil seals.
