Brands
First Brands day yesterday - what a great circuit! Paddock hill bend is sooo much steeper than it looks on the telly...
All in all a good day. Kept the S2k flag flying high... Not too much coming past (other than these two guys in RS4's and a stripped out Impreza TypeRA). One spin - cold tyres plus saw the photographer, thought i should show off...
Looking forward to the next one.
LOVING MY CAR MORE THAN EVER!

Was it an MSV day?
What was the traffic and number of red flags like?
Love the circuit but did a day there earlier in the year and there were way too many incidents and didn't get any decent laps in until most people had gone home late afternoon. It was a cheap day but not very good value for money
Will hopefully be doing the GP circuit in May

Yeah. Traffic wasn't too bad actually. Had some bad moments but started to pick the times to get on circuit later in the day.
They were slightly anal about certain issues though - ie tyre squeal black flags, and my bollocking for the spin (do you think you might want an instructor - ok well if you spin again you can;t go back on without an instructor)
One major incident - first cars on track all day and a Puma lost it down Paddock hill and went sideways into the litter - ended up on roof then back to wheels - totally busted! Otherwise pretty good...

I sat right there during the superbikes, awesome view and a few spills.
A mate of ours was nearly killed there a few years back, its a nasty place to lose it.
He came quickly over the top (this is during a race), to find the race winner had stopped and was doing donuts for the crowd. Almost cut him in half at about a ton.
We lost another local aquaintence at the TT too, sport riding the track - hit a wall.
Just goes to show, even the pros can 'plank out' sometimes!

coming down the hill after druids, coming out of the left hander. Too much 3rd on cold tyres. Plus a little Scandanavian bastard told me to give it a quick flick right too...
