They do make an interesting pair, both in black.

I do hope the Smart makes it back as an AC, or a Lloyd, or something!

PS - MG's back in production today!

Never believed in tyre black. Living in the country my tyres are always filthy within 5 miles of leaving the house.
That may be the case, but at least do the Smart with some Z16. It gives a nice satin finish (not too shiny) and, IMHO, black cars need it in particular. The shiny black paintwork really shows up the brown, discoloured tyres.

We're a bit sad to be selling it TBH, it's just not a good idea to have two impractical cars with two dogs and me playing in a band with a massive amp to shift around

I was going to pop up to Derwent Neil but had too much stuff on.

I did see this on my travels though.

Bollocks - The Smart would look good with a Marshall (or two) strapped to the engine cover & a couple of bass guitars on the passenger seat!

my bass stack would double the weight of the thing!!!

Was driving it yesterday as it needed to go and get the wheels approved for change under warranty. It is a great drivers car. Reminds me of my old MK2 GTi the way you can throw it into corners with reckless abandon. And that gearbox isn't nearly as bad as the press say it is, once you get used to it. I imagine it's a similar driving experience to an early 110bhp Elise, with less steering feel and more comfort.

We may be tempted by the AC if it ever happens.
