Default Bulb/LED types?

Hey all,

Before anyone says anything, i have searched! alot

Anyone know if the following will fit my 01 S2?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LED-Sidelight-2-5w-5...2#ht_2718wt_760

Also these:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HONDA-S2000-LED-Numb...8#ht_3688wt_754

I was going to go to ultraleds but these seem much cheaper and they are SMB leds so the brightness must be half decent.

Thanks in advance

I have read somewhere the side lights are 501 wedge type is it?

Also does anyone know if putting led side lights in would cause the 'bulb out' feature to come on, if there is even one on the S2?

No bulb out feature.

12 volt Wedge type (501) fitments will go everywhere except on the interior.

LEDs are polarity sensitive so the only real consideration is potentially having to swap poles over. Check illumination before putting back together! Side lights are a mare to get at

Boot is 501W
Courtesy / Maplights are festoon type - IIRC between 26mm and 31mm will fit.

Sidelights aren't so bad to get at ..... if you have the arms and hands of a 9 year old anorexic

He's a good seller, used him for about 5 years now and always delivers and always a good price.

Great, thanks very much! had a look at the ebay seller but he has sooo many I had no idea which ones to look at. This will hopefully make it more clearer.

These seem pretty good though:

If you remove the wheel, it's alot easier to get at the sidelights.

Links not working ...

What you're after is the 1W high power led - like the ones below.

links working now.. prefer to get them from the UK for xmas. Main thing for the front sidelights is to match the standard HID colour!

Xenon white LED are too white for standard 4300k HID - it makes them look a bit yellow.
