Default Buying from the US

Hi Guys
I purchased a TCT from Hardtop Guy in the US a little over a week ago and was wondering how long things normally take to be delivered from them

I’m not expecting it in a couple of days or anything stupid like that but assumed that it would be quicker than 12 days as I need to get the car booked in and the TCT rattle sorted (its driving me insane)
I know quite a few people on here have brought bits from them in the past so was wondering if any of you have an estimate on how long I should wait before contacting them

Cheers

Paul

My TCT from Billman in the US took 10 days, so what with the long holidays we just had, I'd say give it a couple more days.

255usd to send a modified one out, and then 100usd refunded when you send your old one back. Ordered mine from Billman a couple of days ago...

Did you just send him a PM asking for one? I'll be doing the same this month of so.

If you need one in a hurry, try CFL Honda in the USA. This should link you to the TCT on their site. http://www.cflhonda....h&siteid=215502 The part number is 14510PCX005

You could keep the old one and get that sandblasted for when the new one starts to go, and then swap them as you go along

You will need to create an account and then contact them for delivery charge (probably $60) - delivery is usually pretty fast (3-4 days) and I reckon the total cost will be around £150 if you get charged import duty and VAT. If not, it'll be about £120.

I thought the main issue was the design flaw with the OEM one and the one from billman is modified and guaranteed for life.

I agree with Lovegroova, I just ordered a knock sensor and a few other bits and they're sending it via FedEx. Even being sent that way and putting import taxes on top I'm still saving over £80 off UK RRP!
