Default "Buzzing on Deceleration" TSB-054.... FIXED

Its amazing the waffle you can cut through with a little Inside Information. Thanks to the wealth of knowledge imparted on the forum, my car is just back from the Workshop having the clutch replaced to resolve my "Buzzing on Deceleration".

When I first agreed to buy the car from the forecourt of non Honda Dealership (... not ideal I'd agree, but I'd managed to arrange a good deal) I insisted that one of the terms of the arrangement was that they had it PDI'd at my local Honda dealership.

I wasn't too happy with what I thought was an excessive vibration under deceleration, but the local Honda dealer reassured me "they do make that sort of noise, its a two seater rear wheel drive Roadster. Its a characteristic"

But armed with my Technical Service Bulletin, the transmission was dis-assembled, the clutch inspected, the new revision ordered, then eventually delivered, and the job completed.

Music to my ears.....no more vibration, Job Well Done!

3000 owners worth of knowledge does makes this site a force to be contended with when dealing with intransigent dealers

Glad you are all sorted out now
