Default Cabin wind turbulence?

Hi, I am considering the S2000 as a fun weekend vehicle for myself and wife. There is one issue about the car I have had difficulty in assessing, which is the level of wind turbulence in the cabin (with the top down of course!). I have been unable to get a test drive on a vehicle without the hard top fitted, so I have never been able to find out how good or bad it is compared to other similar vehicles. Of course I expect some turbulence - this is open top motoring, but my wife doesn't want to look like she has been dragged through the proverbial bushes backwards after a trip.

Any comments, particularly comparative ones would be appreciated.

Many thanks
Graham

I dont think the wind turbulence is a problem.

My girlfriend loves the roof down (she is 5ft 2) so does not really get in the turbulence. I am a 6ft 2 so get it worse but its still not a problem.

You can cruise at normal motorway speeds and easily hear the stereo (and thats the standard Honda one) and talk to each other.

Obviously its a lot more noisey than a normal car though.

Honda should be able to sort you out with test drive with the tintop off.

epqs1. If you can be bothered to drive up to Stocksfield I will happily demonstrate. I'll be in until about 2pm today, or after 3pm tomorrow

It obviously depends on your speed (which will be 20% faster than you think ) but it is tolerable

It lifted a quarter full bag of crisps off the paasenger seat and out the back of the car at 60 mph
(definative test as far as I'm concerned)

Your in Newcastle, get Bassocttopus to take you for a drive, then you'll be able to tell what it would be like for a passenger at comparativley low speeds)

My missus is about 5ft 5, with long hair and she has to wear a cap or something - or I have to put the top up.

She won't go for a scrunchie - says it looke daft!

I'm fine though - short heair you see

I also, on my own, put the little screen back so that more air moves around the cabin as it can get very humid here abd it helps me cool down.
