Cable left over after fitting new Headunit.
Alright gents
just fitted a new headunit to my s2k.
a Sony MEX-BT3100U
Bought this adapter too http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2509224471...84.m1497.l2649
Anyway pretty simple to fit got everything working including controls around the steering wheel.
Came to put it back into place and noticed i had this cable left over
Plugs into the standard headunit but couldn't see anyway for it to fit.
Got worried at first, and thought i'd been sent the wrong stalk adapter
But everything works fine so far.
Just wondering what this cable is used for?
and am i going to be missing out on something after ive put everything back where it goes.
Cheers

The 20-pin has all the usual-suspect stereo gubbins on it.
I believe the 14-pin is for the remote CD-changer in the boot.
The following info is from an 05 Accord but I think it'll be pretty close.
01 - 12V constant
02 - accessory
03 - ground
04 - ground
05 - Right Channel (+)
06 - Left Channel (+)
07 - 12V constant
08 - illumination (+)
09 - BUS (+)
10 - BUS (-)
11 - ground
12 - illumination (-)
13 - Right Channel (-)
14 - Left Channel (-)

That's deffo your CD changer loom. If you don't have a CD Changer then a previous owner has left the wiring in (as it's easier) after taking the changer out.
I've got the same dormant loom in mine. Worry not and enjoy BlueTooth connections!!
