Definitely want to do this in the next few months. I've got black/red but don't know whether to go for black or red calipers??

I saw some caliper colouring kit in Halfords which reminded me that i must get round to doing it. The kit was

I've got some Red Foliatec caliper paint ready to go on but think I'll hang back until after any track exploits - I've seen some nasty results from cooking the paintwork, especially on the rear...

Chippo's calipers are the biz, he blended a couple of shades of red Hammerite to get a lovely rich red colour - very tasty

I painted mine black. Foliatec black. It still looks better than stock, but this is not the matt, flat, perfect porsche black finish...

Any other colour will degrade overtime to a point you regret having do it.

Thee are mine taken last summer:

I used Hammerite. I've not noticed any fading and I've painted the calipers on my last 3 cars with the same stuff. I don't think I'd use it if you intend to track the car as Tif said, but otherwise, I've had no problems at all.

What is the major difference between Foliatec and Hammerite ? Has anyone used both ?

For those of you that have done it, did you take the calipers off ? Did you take all the wheels off or do one at a time ?

The Foliatec paint is an epoxy style product with a paint and seperate hardener. The kit I've got seems OK and includes the brake cleaner spray etc. but I think that it would be best to mix a little paint at a time and do each wheel individualy.
