This may be a silly question but why would you need a Camera mount ?

 

To mount his camera?

 

It gives you a professional-looking result. None of the intense camera shake you get when a passenger holds the camera.
Plus its pretty much the only option if you don't have a passenger !

I meant why take videos while your driving? Is it to see how many people you burn up?

The problem that I find with the Ztec mount is that when you try and shoot going forward the mirror takes up half the frame and obscures the most important part of the view
