Default Camera Mounts.

Does anyone know where you can get a camera mount that replaces the wind deflector? Have seen the Muz one which looks just the ticket but it doesn't have a price or link! Would be great to have some footage at the track day! I know someone has probably asked this before but the search is up the creek again!

Thanks. Simon.

Why not get a bullet cam then? I have two fixed to my car and you can see the quality by d/l the file in my sig to see it. I remember Steven saying that his rear view mirror was in the line of sight of his camera when mounted there.

Bulletcams are OK (I have used what is supposedly a very good Sony bulletcam in the past) but they are not as good as a decent camcorder and the one I used suffered nastily from interference when facing the sun when used skiing Not sure if that was due to the light from the snow causing difficulties though.

I'll upload a daytime one for you Craig, see if it is different to your experiences. I also am currently editing my Europe tour vid and all of the in-car stuff was done with bullet cams. Will sort it out over the next hour or so.

It is, so I mostly used it pointing backwards ..... and the wing now gets in the way

Just take the mirror off. Worked for me.

Personally, I'd go with bullet cams if you've got the AV inputs.
