Default CATASTROPHE help needed

Hi all bit of a shitter this one. My brother with his EK9 made the trip with me to the ring, just went out to the car and turns out his front brake hose has burst, big hole fluid everywhere. Anybody know any place local that can sort out new hoses and fit them? Any locals that know the Adenau area?

Lucky he didn't lose the fluid on track.

sorry to hear that. Is it definitely the flexi? If it's the hardline then any garage would have a roll of copper pipe to replace it with. Sooner you go the better really as they maybe able to get the parts same day.

Pulled the wheel off and there's a big hole in the hose so definitely not the hard line

there is a Brit who works at the Rent4Ring office at the 'ring - Dale Lomas - he writes for Pistonheads online - http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/p...emberId=250742 - you might be able to get in touch with him at the office. He is regularly fixing his BMW so will know the garages!

Cheers! Funnily enough looked for Dale but couldn't find him, rent4ring were very helpful though, it's their sister company that has the car atm, they are sorting it ready for tomorrow morning. They are called Matech Motorsport, literally 2 minutes drive from our hotel so that's a result.

Plenty of places around adenau that will repair it.

I had an exhaust header break an inch off the cylinder head on a bike. Took it down the town, at 4.30 on a Saturday afternoon. Bike shop makes a couple of calls, says he can't weld stainless but found someone that can. Tells me to leave bike with him and to return back at 10am on Monday. Go back as told, bike all repaired, back together and cleaned.

They would have spent an hour getting the exhaust off and on, plus taking it to be welded (all on a sunday). They refused to take any payment for it.

Love the nurburgring and surrounding area. Even if you don't go on track its a great atmosphere.

It'll be something like a Vorderachse Bremsschlauch he's after...

I should imagine any Honda dealer ought to have one.

Or do a search:
