Default Cats Dead - Options?

After putting up with the rattling for a month or so, decided to have a closer look underneath.

Appears the Cat has decided to be no more, and rattles like hell when you knock it. Going to remove the heatshield tomorrow to verify its definitely the cat but to me it sounds like it.

So wondering what my options are?!

Thanks!

I've got a second hand cat in good nick for a mere £78 delivered

Cheaper than the other options and guaranteed to pass an MOT

I was expecting:

1. Bury
2. Cremate
3. Chuck in bin

The cat itself has covered significantly less mileage than the rest of the car, ~ 70k miles.

You should see how much they go for on eBay and from breakers...it's a bargain

IIWU, sell yours to a scrap merchant rather than chucking it in the bin Should get around £50.

I've just bought a HFC from Dixon. Very nice fit and finish, no CEL issues and I'm pretty confident it will be MoT friendly - Dixon says his product is cleaner than the Berk HFC, and people get through the MOT with the Berk product.

Dixon's stainless HFC is £250 - most standard pattern parts cost more........

I am currently in contact with the local Honda garage to see if I can get it done under warranty, wish me luck!
