with Steven's sub-title.

Whatever next? The mind boggles. So what happens when you believe a road is 40 and it's actually 30mph. You merrily drive along and get a fine / points / both for each catseye? Can you imagine the cost to livelihoods?

The road angel navigator I have just bought advises the speed limit of the road aswell as the location of the camera.

I doubt that the new devices will be any different in the fact that the locations will be published etc.

However upon speaking to the guy that runs the camera partnership I would doubt this device will be used in the near future.

Yeah, but not everyone can afford a device to tell them the speed limit to make up for the lack of road signs!

And how many drivers will they need to catch to cover rolling out such a scheme? Plus, how many will go missing in the first few months when people rip them up to get the cameras out?

People won't even be able to overtake for fear of being caught speeding carrying out the move.

Nah, this is another pie in the sky idea if you ask me and will never see the light of day. They should use the money to put more nurses in hospitals or something equally worthwhile.

W.A.N.K.E.R? I think so....

Mr Brunstrom says the new devices are needed to help control Britain's "lawless" roads and motorways.
Great, so does that mean it will tell them if someones driving when drunk or under influence of Drugs or if they have no insurance / MOT / Tax etc?????? dont think so some how. Two words "EASY" and "REVENUE"

Malaysia already uses similar technology where the cameras can instantly check if your car is taxed and insured.

now that i agree with.but i expect it would mean doing some police work to follow it up.
