Instructions for getting a 2 button remote fob, programmed to your car.
The fob in question:-
And now the instructions:-
Things to remember make sure all the doors are closed (and boot is closed)
Sit in car and do the following
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) Fully on.
2. Press the big button on one of the transmitters. (An unprogrammed transmitter can be used for this step.)
3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) Fully off.
4. Repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 two more times using the same transmitter used in step 2.
5. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) Fully on.
6. Press the big button on the same transmitter twice. Make sure the power door locks cycle to confirm that the system is in programming mode.
7. Within 10 seconds, press the big button on each transmitter twice. Make sure the power door locks cycle after you press each transmitter button to confirm that the system accepted the transmitter's code.
8. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) Fully off and take key out to exit the programming mode.
Now you will find that both remotes work.
Things to consider, if like me you already had one remote fob, and your just adding a second you will need both fob's at the sametime to re-program to the car.
I don't know if mine did, but I just have the key, no kind of Honda fob with it. Of course I have an aftermarket alarm that's wired into the central locking. No way of doing the boot though.
will give it a go tonight, my father tested it on this electronic current thing, there wasnt a current going through it, but im not to sure how accurate his tool was

maybe he had his tool on the setting for raisins.
perhaps your fob just needs a new battery?
Boot releases shouldn't be too difficult for you folks with trouble. Demob, PM me your alarm details. A good friend of myine is an auto electrician and could probably sort this for you pretty cheaply!

I have one button on the fob. What am I going to press to release the boot?
