Afternoon,

My passenger door central locking motor does not seem to actuate anymore. Took the door card off to take a look, and I can hear the motor engage slightly but no movement of the mechanism. Good 12v on the connector, so I am going to assume te motor has given up the ghost.

Can anyone recommend a replacement and where to source one?

 

CFL Honda ... or a 2nd hand unit - the motors are the same in both drivers and passenger side. However it's a royal pig to get at ..... took me an hour ro so to do the driver side.

Thanks. I did poke my head inside the door to suss out removal. It seems the top screw has already been rounded off.

 

I'd guess someone has had a go before - access isn't the best sadly.

 

Mine did this. Corrosion on the door catch itself meant the arms seized. Took me about 2hour to strip down and get it all out to free up and then put back in.
