Wondering if others getting some scratches to the slide cover over the cup holder/ash tray in the centre console...? Can the slide cover be easily removed and replaced...?

 

Slide cover is easy enough to take out .... but it's a lot of screws and the spring is a pain to reattach afterwards.

It shouldn't be scratching from moving back and forth though. Have you got dirt in there?

 

Watch strap? I tend to leave mine open so it never gets scratched. Assume you have the black cover rather than the silver of MY04 and MY05.

If it's lightly scratched you could try to polish it out (T-Cut or Brasso) but then you may loose some of the brushed effect.
