Default CF Bonnet.

The last time I fitted one of these to an MR2 it was highly advised to fit bonnet pins as some unlucky gent had it open on him at speed (broken bonnet, windscreen glass, windscreen frame etc. etc.).

Are they needed for the S2000? I don't remember seeing many at JAE, but then I was off my face for long periods.

You won't need pins but they can pe a PITA to install and lign up correctly.

It can take half an hour to install the bonnet but hours to align it.

You will need to play with the catch and the 4 rubber stoppers, 2 at each side of the engine bay.

The height of the rubber stoppers is adjusted by twisting them.

This may be a stupid question but do you have to inform your insurance provider if you install a CF Bonnet?
