Default Change of Colour

So the car is track built enough for me now (see the project 1050 thread), other than some other minor weight reductions planned for the off season.

However the paint is quite tired and there are a few scratches and dings on the car, so I have decided to DIY paint it over the winter. I have an air compressor and an indoor garage, so I am going to do it cheaply. Now before people tell me I'm crazy, be aware of three things

1) The car is just a track car, so the quality of the paint job does not have to be perfect
2) I don't want to spend money on this other than the cost of the paint.
3) I am crazy

Now since I have got that out of the way, I need peoples opinion on what colour to paint it.

I only have one requirement

1) The colour has be 'interesting', so nothing to dull

I can have a split colour arrangement, maybe a black hardtop against the body colour etc.

Now give me your suggestions, preferably a colour that was never offered by Honda

I like an orange/black scheme, although I am also thinking about a dark metallic green. Forza 4 is a great help in this regard, but I have already spent enough time last night messing about on it

I'll open it to the floor

Dave

Here is what I am down to. I don't really ike the blue and want to keep the HT black and am leaning towards a variant of the green....

I would go for green too. Something like a Ford Focus ST type green, or VW scirocco.

Or if you prefer to be more classy, maybe a metallic brown? seen quite a few car manufacturer coming out with this colour recently

How about a retro Honda F1 paint job as inspiration?...

A bit of masking and some red, white and gold and you're away! Could look quite cool on an S.
