Cheapest Headlight Upgrade
Hi,
Trawled through the forum yet could not find a straightforward answer.
Yesterday was driving at night in the pot hole riddled badly lit up raods of ours and I realised that either my rods were not up to the job or i am getting older but i found myself turning on the brights a couple of times.
What is the cheapest solution to improve the beam (without turning on the brights of course!).
Thanks

I'm with Ian on this.
Adjusting the headlights is probably the best option.
Otherwise, you might try finding higher wattage ballasts, but that is probably opening a can of worms.
Perhaps installing a set of HID fog lights in the faux vents would offer you some assistance?

Try cleaning the windscreen or checking the auto-adjuster ain't broke.
I cannot believe there is a problem with the S2000's normally excellent dipped beam if set up correctly. I sometimes find the full beam is overkill and simply reflects off big roadsigns at one.
Similarly bi-xenons can sometimes seem too bright; the S2000's are about right for the car's capabilities. Many ordinary lights ruin many otherwise supposedly fast cars.

When you really need the light, the car simply fails to make the grade. Dip beam however is fine, very powerful.
