I concur. A Silverstone touch up pen will cost about a fiver (iirc) from Honda, but I found they're a pain to apply directly (the paint congeals on the end) - so M4X-Neil's recommendation of using a small paint brush is a sound one.

Some people advocate the use of a cocktail stick for a neater finish.

I have used Honda touch-up paint on my '01 Silverstone and it is a good match for a metallic.

You need to apply the paint to be slightly raised above the surface and then use Langka to rub the blob down level with the surface. Langka is fantastic stuff. It dissolves the blob and seems to blend it into the existing paint film leaving a smooth and level finish filling only the chip indentation and therefore almost invisible

Details on www.langka.com.

However, you have a problem with chips on the bumpers because the bumpers are plastic and the chips form a 'rim' around the dent (rather like a meteorite crater on the moon) so you need to sand down the rim before you can fill in the chip with paint - not easy to do.

Very easy to 'sand' down the raised area around the chip with a clay bar and lubricant - I use some car wash with water.

I have found methylated spirits to be a cheap alternative to Langka.
Leave paint overnight to dry then use it sparingly on a cotton wool pad (make up remover pad) and just rub with the meths until the new paint is smooth with the surrounding area.
