Civic Type R Prices
Might be worth trying Hondas Direct - they're the internet sales arm of my local dealer, Tachbrook. I got a reasonable price out of them for an 04 S2000.
You can often find their ad in the google section next to the quick reply box at the bottom of the board. If it's not there, I think the URL of their website (from memory) is www.hondas-direct.co.uk. Tell Brad that I sent you!

Isn't Dave Long dealing with the corporate side of Tachbrook, Mark?
At least whenever I get to speak to anyone, they always say I have to speak to him only.
Even this way, I don't think Karen got much of a better deal.....but worth a try nevertheless.

I think Dave is the Corporate Sales Manager, San. Brad is one of the salesmen and the guy with day-to-day responsibility for the Hondas Direct side of things, though I know Dave has the final say.
For instance, when my 04 was delayed, I pushed Brad to agree that they'd still guarantee the p/x price they had given to me, even if I did a few more miles than the price originally assumed - he had to go and ask someone else for the OK. I assume that was Dave.
As for the price they offer, I suspect it's what you can haggle most dealers down to, if you seem serious and they want a sale. I'm not saying it's any better - just that you can get the price from them without having to go through the faff of the haggle, and avoiding the possibility that the dealer doesn't want to discount the price as much as you would like and as much as another one might do.
