Default Clay bar

Okay, I have jsut been reading some of the posts on clay bars, and I am gettng really excited. I have never heard of them before, and REALLY want to do my car NOW!
Where can I get one from, do places like hellfords sell them, or is it a mail-order thing. Also has anyone tried jewelbrighting after clay-barring, as my pocket wont stretch to zymol just yet?

Looks good
Just seems a shame not to use my jewelbright, as I have never seen results as good as that gives, although saying that, i havent seen the results of a few of the products talked about on this board, previous to me getting my s, autoglym was the b all and end all of waxes (although their bumpercare is still amazing stuff)

Moff...is the Meguiar's equivalent to Zymol, etc?

Also...is the claybar equivalent to HD-cleanse?

Its better than Zymol.

Claybar first
Zymol HD Cleanse
Zymol Polish.

Now, the neighbour's cat slips off the car !!

Meguiar's Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner is the equivalent of Zymol's HD Cleanse. It does a fantastic job of removing swirls. Also try Scratch X for slightly deeper swirls and light scratches.

Meguiar's is far better than AutoGlym (of which I used for many years prior) and is fantastic value for money when head 2 head with Zymol. Maybe the products are not quite as good as Zymol's, but I think you will struggle to notice. I am a perfectionist when it comes to clean cars, but I am not willing to pay the prices for the Zymol products.

If anyone needs any advice on Meguiars products, feel free to ask, I have been using many of their products for about 18 months now and I think they are awesome.
