I just washed them in a normal machine wash with the usual powdery stuff and they seem OK.

I would also like to know what is recommended though.

I don't wash the applicators at all. I use them for two polishing sessions and then they get relegated to buffing the alloys and the exhaust. After a while they get binned.

Oh and buffing / polishing cloths - wash them using a tiny bit of washing up liquid in the washing machine. I wash mine after two sessions also.

Normal washing powder but without conditioner (built-in or otherwise) - the conditioner will clog up microfibre cloths.

How many times can a clay bar be used? Mine looked pretty knackered after my first ever claying session
