I have been after some clear indicators for a while and even ordered some from CarParts.com. Although these were claimed to fit the S2K, they were completely different.

I have now found the In-Pro direct replacements in grey or silver grey at Demon-Tweeks (01978 664466). These are exactly the same as the Honda part but with a clear lense and an orange bulb. Part numbers (In-Pro's not Demon Tweeks) are 4001 and 4501 respectively. I have plumped for the silver/grey (not sure what the difference between the two is) and for the bargain price of

Max,

Any feeling for whether grey or silver/grey would be most appropriate for a Silverstone S2k?

More (less subjective) advise please - I know this isn't rocket science but.....am I right in thinking that you have to unclip the wheel-arch liners to get to the side lights? And if so - how fraught is this - my previous experience with these push clips leads me to expect a 50% breakage rate when un-clipping!!

Many thanks

Ian

Removal is very simple. All you need to do is push the indicator forward and then pull it out (so no taking off the inner arch). I have removed mine several times to take a look and the electrical connection simply unplugs. The In-Pro is a copy of the factory item, so plugs back in to the existing connection.

I have seen a silver members car with them and it looks so much better but as i haven't seen the two different kinds side by side I don't know which ones they were. Try a search with "In-Pro" or "clear indicators" and you should find some more info.

I was planning to put mine on when I came back from my track day but my engine went pop up in Bedford so the job is going to have to wait.

Hope that helps.

Hi Max,

Thanks for the info. I will place an order with Demon Tweeks today.

Sorry to hear about your engine - you sound terrible calm about it - I am sure I would be mortifed! Did you do anything to provoke the failure?

ALl the best

Ian

Sorry to be a little slow about this, I am also looking for clear indicator repeaters and just gave Demon - Tweeks a call. They had no idea what I was talking about!

Can someone tell me what/ who 'Partboys' is?. Is it the same as Demon - Tweeks? If not is there a phone number? Which is the better part or are they both genuine Honda bits?

Sorry to be a little ignorant about this but i only bought my '00 silver/black on tuesday!

Thanks for the help

Cheers

'partsboy' is on 01743 440999. His name is Paul and he's the parts manager of a Honda dealer offering special prices to S2ki Forum members and also the club for that strange little Honda, the name of which I've forgotten. So, yes, they are genuine Honda bits. I have the clear side indicators on my car and they look great, especially with the 'Honda' badge removed.

BTW He's just phoned me to tell me my alloy Dead Pedal has arrived.
